It is used for Magnesium (Mg) removal in aluminum or aluminum alloy
It is White powdery , mainly made of chloride and fluoride.
it works under the diffusion of gas bubbles and active flux, and gets rid of Mg element with the adjustment of reaction speed.
It can also remove calcium and other metal elements in aluminum alloy and bear a better refining, degassing and grain refining effect.it is easy to deslag after operation
1> To remove 1 kg Mg in aluminum alloy , needs 5kg Special Flux ( in average )
2> Dosage =( Mg content in aluminum alloy %- needed Mg content %)* weight of molten aluminum *( 5±0 . 5kg)
3> Check the composition of molten aluminum and calculate the dosage as the formula ( NO . 2 )
4> Application temperature : 735 ℃ -- 745 ℃.
5>Spray special flux with high purity nitrogen into furnace twice and make sure full access .
Firstly , take half of special flux to refine 20 - 25minutes , then deslag .
Secondly , use the rest specila flux , refine 15 - 20minutes , then deslag .
At last ,close the furnace door and keep 10 minutes
6>Take molten aluminum samples from furnace to check the composition , removing Magnesium and refining process completed.
Be away from wet and keep in ventilated and dry environment. Guarantee period 12moths.
